DESCRIPTION
A matched pair of blue and white Chinese export porcelain teacups, Qianlong period, circa 1750–1780. Both cups carry the same dragonfly workshop mark in underglaze cobalt at the interior base — a documented 18th century workshop identifier — and the same diagonal rope/cable interior border. Exterior landscape scenes feature pagoda, rockwork, and willow in bold gestural brushwork consistent with quality mid-18th century Jingdezhen export production.
Loop handles added for the Western market; period-correct repairs present and collector-valued. Both pieces bear typed inventory labels from the same private New England estate collection — a refined assemblage of Chinese export porcelain with provenance ranging from Canton ware to Kangxi-period specialist pieces.
Sold as a pair. Beautifully suited to open shelving, a curated cabinet, or as a starting point for a larger export porcelain collection. Compatible in period and workshop with Canton and Nanking ware.
