Custom Restoration & Sourcing is where our work with designers and clients really begins, and it starts one of two ways. Some projects call for something we've already found: a piece already in our collection, hand-restored and ready to move into a room as soon as it's needed. Others start with a gap — a floor plan with a shape missing from it, a brief that calls for real age and provenance, a piece you can picture but haven't found yet. For those, we work alongside you from the start, sourcing candidates that fit the scale, style, and budget of the room, then restoring the one you choose entirely by hand: repairing structure, refinishing surfaces, and preserving the character and craftsmanship that make an antique worth having in the first place. Either way, the process stays personal. We talk through the piece, the timeline, and the finish together, one on one, so what arrives on-site is exactly what the room needed — not just what happened to be available.
